Black Houses: April 2006
http://blackhouses.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 05, 2006. Jeez, Grizz #5 (California Dreamin' Edition). Well it's me the Grizz and I just got back from my first visit to. California. For the first 26 years of my life I'd been to such exotic. Locals as Mobile, Fayetteville and Des Moines. If that sounds funny to you that I haven't been well traveled, it will. Sound funnier when I slap your ears for mocking me for growing up. Anyway I've never really been all that concerned about Californiabut. Drink some beers at the pier in Oceanside.

Black Houses: October 2005
http://blackhouses.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 31, 2005. San Francisco's Oranger is one of those bands that make me happy. If you've ever seen them play live, the joy is overt and obvious. Singer Mike Drake always sounds like he's smiling when he's singing, and seeing him onstage bears that out. You'd be hard pressed to find a time when bassist Matt Harris isn't. This cut was particularly choice live, and it's my favorite from the new album. Fetch the mp3: RadioWave. Http:/ www.oranger.net. Posted by Tony @ 9:07 PM. I ordered mine yes...

Gibble Gabble: 02.07
http://gibblegabble.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
From a collection of Spoken Word records. Wednesday, February 28, 2007. Gorey by Grimes LP. Welcome to Gibble Gabble! Gibble Gabble is a result of me realizing that I need to listen to some of the hundreds of spoken word records I've accumulated over the years. Instead of breaking into the music that I post on Crud Crud, I decided to dedicate a blog to these things. Of course, the Edward Gorey experience is as much a visual thing as it is literary. Your life is not complete if you have never seen the...

From a collection of Spoken Word records. Wednesday, May 2, 2007. Nueva York: A Tape Documentary of Puerto Rican New York LP. I am giving you five tracks. I'd post every cut but lack of web space prevents me. Two cuts are some of my favorite bits on any record, the translations of the songs from the juke box. I think I paid $14 Canadian for this one and believe me it is worth every penny. In New York (Juke Box Record Translation). Juke Box Record Translation. Posted by Scott Soriano at 7:37 PM.
