Sunday, April 24, 2011. We had so much fun with Scott and Cindy's family over Thanksgiving! The kids loved playing with their cousins, Landon and Parker, and we all had a great time together. The day after our Thanksgiving feast with Mama Kit and Papa Len, we kicked-off the Christmas season with a little gingerbread house party. In honor of the movie we all saw together, Scott made the tower from "Tangled.". This was their "superhero" pose:. We can't wait to see you again! Two can be trouble.

Tuesday, June 30, 2009. A fifth grader's g.n.o. Rebecca and her friends thought it was funny to inflate their swimsuits. I thought so, too! Rebecca and her friend created this center piece. They figured that girls like shoes and puppies- voila! Monday, June 29, 2009. She can swim, she can swim! These past few weeks, she has pushed herself beyond her comfort zone and is doing great. Over the weekend, she sported some goggles so she could do some underwater viewing- a huge step for someone who has work...

Sunday, April 17, 2011. Fun out of the sun. The first week of August, 2010, we squeezed in a week in Southern California before school started. Summer ended up being a bit stressful, after Jeff's nose injury derailed our routine. It was wonderful to escape the heat and have fun with friends and family. Becky is so creative, and introduced us to the joy of homemade slime. We had a spectacular day at Sea World! The whole week was great fun, and the perfect ending to our summer. Two can be trouble. Sunday, April 17, 2011. Princess giggles celebrates another year. We had fun celebrating Katie's 6th birthday - and I have absolutely NO pictures! We had a very buggy birthday party, complete with Give the Ladybug her Spots, bug sorting, and several other themed games. Katie had several friends from her half-day kindergarten class at Finley Farms, plus some neighbors and church friends. I guess I was so busy entertaining the big group, I neglected to take pictures. Monday, November 2, 2009. As ever, we had more Halloween festivities and candy than anyone could possibly need! We had a church fall festival/trunk-or-treat on Wednesday (FUN but COLD), I helped at the kids' class parties in school on Friday (JUNK food galore), and enjoyed our always festive street for the actual trick-or-treating. Monday, July 26, 2010. Baby turns two (not really, but don't tell). We celebrated Matthew's birthday today! The actual day isn't for another week, but we rescheduled it for today because we won't all be together at that time. Matthew really enjoyed his day! Matthew was so excited about his cake, his presents, and the birthday phone calls. Matthew knew just what to do with the candles and got them out on his first blow! Check out his dimple.). The missed catch that messed up our summer- and jeff's nose.

It started out as rain, got increasingly more powerful, and soon Matthew and I stood at the sliding door, watching walnut-sized hail pelt our yard, pool, landscaping, and everything else outside. Sunday, April 24, 2011. Rebecca is sitting here, telling me that "d-e-b-u-t" does not spell fun. But, Andrew may beg to differ! In December, he was cast as Sherlock Holmes in his 3rd grade program. In his first role onstage, he hammed it up during three performances of "Geology Rocks," a presentation of songs and script about the search for a specific rock. Two can be trouble.
