Last year was The Wizard of Oz. This year.her 10th birthday she is a "groovy" kind of girl! This plate was the inspiration for the cake design. I told you Tie Dye. Was coming back into fashion! I used the same technique of painting on buttercream as before in Tie Dye Disco. This time the colors are deeper. Of course topsy turvy is "totally rad" so we had to do that! Saturday, December 11, 2010. Dallas Cowboys or Cinderella? I made some star cookies for my friend's daughter's Cinderella birthday party. I accidentally put too much blue food coloring in, though, so between that and the silver glitter, they looked like Dallas Cowboy stars. The sugar crystals on top helped, but they were still too dark. They were really cute anyway and the kids at the party ate them up. Thursday, December 2, 2010. Teapots and cowboy boots. Wednesday, April 14, 2010. I had one of the best birthdays I've had in years. For starters, I dyed my hair green and got my nose pierced. Pete got me some rad new neon pink and orange shoes. Leelee gave me some beautiful flowers. My friend, Amber (the cake lady) brought me a delicious strawberry cake with cream cheese icing and a movie.
