It’s amazing to think of the power it takes to convince so many 18/19/20 year olds to do everything it requires to serve a full time mission. That is a lot of sacrifice, suffering, and hard work from what is often thought of as a primarily self-absorbed and still-immature age group. You get a sense of that power in this performance. Something you may not know about me is that i have suddenly become kind of interested in baby goats (and goats in general). something you may not know about baby goats is that they are adorable. i just stumbled upon this delightful cache of goat pictures. And personal goat information. I would definitely recommend spending a few minutes poking around the "goat album" and don't miss out on the "kidding schedule." Oh and the bios on the sale page are pretty good.

This is one of the first things i have pinned and then actually made and put in my house (these are just some free print outs-i didn't actually "make" them. but i did put them in frames). At first i just appreciated the puns, but as these have been hanging in my kitchen the past few weeks i have found that i have been more able to be grateful and also to roll with it. This is my nephew! This is the baby i have been making for the past 12 weeks. yay!

Monday, December 31, 2012. 10 ways my life has changed recently. 10 I blog at 4:52am. 9 I started watching star trek on netflicks (the next generation). 8 I am more grateful for simple pleasures (showering, sleeping, taking my time while i eat etc.). 7 There are lots of days that I don't go "outside" or "get dressed" or "wear a bra.". 6 80% of the time I choose sleeping over eating (this is up from about 20%). 5 I do more things one handed. 4 Food no longer makes me nauseous. 1 I have a baby!
