Entries by tag: owl. Home made birdcage and canning/gardening this past weekend. July 30th, 2013. My neighbor and I have been working in our joint garden and the veggies are starting to show. I've canned corn, tomato juice and dill pickle relish so far and frozen corn, green peppers and yellow squash. I also have fresh onions to cook with and to dry for later. Entries by tag: kindergarten. August 31st, 2013. I'll be glad when my garden stuff slow down a little. My 5 yr. old started kindergarten and she loves it. She went 1/2 day last year so going a full day this year is really different for her. She's a very energetic child so I was worried that her teachers would have trouble with her but she seems to be adjusting well.
