Tuesday, June 18, 2013. Pretty Peach and Peony Cake! This past weekend we celebrated my boyfriend's sisters birthday! And though I've been super swamped at work, I knew I wanted to make her something special! Having zero time to really think about and plan what I wanted to do, I messaged my friend Meredith and asked her for an idea for a colour combo. Her reply? So here it is! I went with an embossed pattern peach cake, a big white offset peony and some gold accents for a little pop and contrast!
