Reynolds Family
http://reynoldsrascals.blogspot.com/?zx=3774ebf2dbdbdaaf
Sunday, September 16, 2012. It's time` to say good-bye to our Reynolds Rascals blog. Unfortunately, it seemed that many of the people I really wanted to read this blog could never seem to access it because it was private, no matter how many times they were invited. So, we've decided to go public. But there are things on this blog we don't want to be public. Thus, the creation of our new blog:. If you would like to continue to read about our family, that's where you can do so! Thursday, July 5, 2012.

Cakes by Patrice: Cookies and Cream Cupcakes
http://cakesbypatrice.blogspot.com/2012/01/cookies-and-cream-cupcakes.html
Thursday, January 26, 2012. Cookies and Cream Cupcakes. Yep, I said it, Cookies and Cream Cupcakes! I don't usually like to put lots of swirls and globs of frosting on top of my cupcakes, but for these glorious diet wreckers, I decided to make an exception. There's a surprise inside! I got the idea here. And made them minus the cream filling. Note her recipe says to finely crush the Oreos for the frosting. I made the mistake of crushing mine by hand- they. I can't just throw it away and WASTE it! Sunday ...

Cakes by Patrice: John Deere Cake
http://cakesbypatrice.blogspot.com/2011/11/john-deere-cake.html
Thursday, November 3, 2011. I just finished this cake for my little boy that is turning 3 tomorrow. I am SO incredibly excited to show it to him in the morning. He is OBSESSED with John Deere. I wanted to go simple with the cake so I just did a 2-layer 8" round with vanilla buttercream and the logo is made out of modeling chocolate. And I must say that I love modeling chocolate! I think I prefer it over fondant. it is so much easier to work with! Happy Birthday, Bud! November 4, 2011 at 8:05 AM.

Cakes by Patrice: Zebra Hello Kitty Cake
http://cakesbypatrice.blogspot.com/2012/03/zebra-hello-kitty-cake.html
Friday, March 2, 2012. Zebra Hello Kitty Cake. I've kind of been avoiding making cakes for a while. this whole having 3 kids thing is still throwing everything off. Add in a few weeks of potty training a little boy and it's been sort of crazy around here. But when I got asked to make a zebra cake, I got excited to do another cake. I have a slight obsession with zebra print. I think it turned out pretty dang cute! March 3, 2012 at 8:30 AM. It looks more than pretty dang cute! My most viewed cakes.

Cakes by Patrice: Oh. My. Ganache!
http://cakesbypatrice.blogspot.com/2012/03/oh-my-ganache.html
Tuesday, March 20, 2012. Happy Birthday to me! That's right. I make my own birthday cakes. I LOVE to bake! Last year I made this. Amazing cheesecake for myself. This year I wanted to make something that was completely centered around my favorite thing: chocolate. And it was SO incredibly easy, I thought I'd teach you how. I made more ganache (1 cup chocolate chips, 1 cup cream a little vanilla) but this time I didn't whip it. and then I smothered the raspberries. March 21, 2012 at 7:45 AM. I am a complet...

Cakes by Patrice: Topsy Turvy Cake
http://cakesbypatrice.blogspot.com/2010/09/topsy-turvy-cake.html
Tuesday, September 28, 2010. To end my crazy weekend of cakes, I made a cake for Cordelle's 30th birthday. His wife said he likes modern/contemporary things and black and white so I decided to make him a black and white topsy turvy cake! This was my first time ever making one AND my first time ever making a tiered cake. So it was FULL of experiments. Happy 30th birthday, Cordelle! October 3, 2010 at 12:16 PM. I gotta say, this cake was pretty dang good! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Cakes by Patrice: UNC Basketball
http://cakesbypatrice.blogspot.com/2011/04/unc-basketball.html
Thursday, April 21, 2011. I was asked to do a birthday cake for a teenage boy who loves North Carolina Basketball, so this is what I came up with. It's pretty simple and to the point. It's a white sheet cake and the ball is chocolate cake- all covered in delicious buttercream frosting. AND, this is the first fondant-free cake I've decorated in a while and I'm pretty proud of the way it turned out! I also think the way I made the hand grip stuff on the ball turned out awesome!
