Monday, May 23, 2011. I got experimental one night and made fruit Pizza for dinner. Start with a batch of cookie dough, here is my coveted recipe (it's a secret k? 1 cup softened butter. 1 1/2 tsp baking powder. Bake at 400 degrees. (7min for normal cookies but 12 mins for these). This makes enough for 5 "dinner" plate sized pizza/cookie. Divide dough into 5 equal sized balls. Remember to "Pam" the plate and squish the dough out. The kids LOVED doing this. Now put the kids to work! Friday, May 13, 2011.

Finding the Good in Everyday: November 2010
http://simplyenduring.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 28, 2010. Be a happy mother! One of my favorite movies of all time is "The Trouble With Angels.". One part in particular struck me the last time I watched . . . It's about being a mother. While I DO want to die wealthy I don't. Want to die young ;). My favorite line is when Mother Superior is hugging the crying elderly woman and she says:. Be happy. That's the greatest gift a mother can give her children". You must remember children are sponges and you are the role model they will emulate.

Finding the Good in Everyday: December 2010
http://simplyenduring.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 31, 2010. I get tired of Christmas pretty quickly, usually before the blessed day actually arrives. Christmas songs are nice for a few days, then my blood starts boiling everything I hear the Carpenters or that STUPID Christmas shoes song! You know the one I mean! The Christmas I was pregnant that song came on and started a 60 minute bawling session that was both irrational and pathetic . . . aka hormonal ;). The good thing today: Work called: "Would you mind if we call you off tonight?

Sunday, January 23, 2011. Suffer the little ones. Have you heard about the Tiger Mom Phenomenon? The ENTIRE Internet is a buzz about it. Take a few minutes and read the article here. While I certainly have my own opinions regarding parenting, as I'm sure you do I can't imagine calling this little man "garbage". And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea. Gordon B. Hinkley. The good...
