Cakes From the Heart. Saturday, October 1, 2011. Chocolate and Movie Dreams. There were two birthdays this week. My daughter said she wanted chocolate cake with chocolate icing. That's it. So we had chocolate death cake. It was SOOOOO yummy! Sigh* This cake was cute.until I tried to make the horse. I need lots more practice. Cakes From the Heart. Monday, November 16, 2009. This cake was for a neighbor. It looked so much better in my head, but it was good practice. What you don't see is the awesome hammer that I made to go with the nails and the paint brush. Where are they you may ask? My three year old climbed on the counter and ate them! Cakes From the Heart. Wednesday, May 26, 2010. Oh, the Places You'll Go! Isn't this just the perfect graduation cake? The person on top is a bit scary, a little bright, but I'm still happy with the end result. This took 2 hours to ice and decorate (I did stop to eat before putting the person on the top). Summer Class for Teens! This class will also be revamped and changed to a 12 week class before the next session starts. The class will build on level 1 and we will make more involved dishes. It will run five weeks with the final class being a meal of the student’s design. 20 per class per student or $100 for the session (half due at first class). To sign up, please call 704-302-6384.
