Monday, May 9, 2011. A lot of people think chocolate brownies and chocolate cake are the same! No they are not! Duhhheven the name is different! Cakes are soft and light. Brownies, on the other hand, are supposed to be slightly chewy and heavy. Therefore, making chocolate cakes that are square and flatter do not count as BROWNIES ok. Want to taste real Brownies? Over the weekend I made the following:. Chili pepper chocoalte bark. Monkey Bread via The Pioneer Woman (the woman is a goddess! I know that seems like a lot but it wasn't really. 1 baking sheet pan. 1-2 bags of semi sweet chocolate chips. 1/2 to 1 tsps of cayanne pepper. Adapted from ifood.tv. 1(or 2) baking sheets.
