Cake with my coffee. Monday, August 19, 2013. Last week was my anniversary. You might wonder why I choose this cake for an anniversary. It is pink after all. But, I've been wanting to make an ombre cake for awhile and I knew my daughters would have fun with pink. And lets face it, my husband has two girls. He lives in a pink world! I loved how the layers came out. The progression of the pink was fairly easy to do and looked great. 2 1/2 cups cake flour. 3/4 cup all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon baking soda.

Monday, June 8, 2015. Durham Bulls with Small Group. Since we had so much fun last year, we revisited the Durham Bulls again this year with our small group. All the kids are older (the twinkies stayed home with Mimi and B since it was so hot) so they were able to stay the whole game. They were of course entertained by Wool E Bull and all the food vendors the entire time more than the game. Tons of local mascots came out to wish Wool E Bull Happy Birthday. Great night! Monday, August 10, 2015. Kindergarten, here comes Will! Will had his staggered entry day of K and loved it! Unfortunately, he came down with HFM and missed his whole first week of Kindergarten. His teacher was sweet and wished him well. The next week, he was recovered and MoMo had a surprise waiting for him on the kitchen table. With new ninja turtles, a new backpack and lunch, he was ready to go to school and ride the bus (only been waiting 3 years to ride that thing! Megan and Adam Pfanmiller.

Friday, June 5, 2015. OIB, Here we come! We just got back from a week long trip to Ocean Isle Beach. We had amazing weather the entire week. After tossing our luggage into the house, we made a quick trek down to the beach to enjoy the sunset. Mimi was a champ and pushed all three of the boys :) Yes, long-legged Will said his legs needed to rest. First run back with the double stroller one early morning! Holy Double Cuteness - Twinkies hit the beach! There's Caroline in her teeny tiny polka dot bikini!

Wednesday, August 5, 2015. On Sunday, July 12th the twins were baptized at our church. They both did amazing. Will and Parker stood up at the front with us and did great, minus trying to touch the flames of a few candles ;). Afterwards, we hosted a BBQ luncheon at my parents house with family and several PGUMC families. We love our church family and have grown so close to so many of them! Love me some Vivian! The Blinds came up for the day with their parents on Thursday. We mostly just swam and sat around on the dock as the weather was pretty rainy. Next on Friday the Wingates came for the weekend. Always a big hit with a huge crowd! The double decked pontoon with a slide is always a big hit.although a lot of work with babies :). Jumping off the top deck with Daddy!
