Javea is divided into more parts along the different beaches. In the old town you will find a spectacular church. Iglesia de San Bartolome. And the biggest marina. On the arenal Beach you will find a lot of good restaurants and a very fine sand beach. You will often find high waves that invite the many surfers to come there. If you want to dive, surf og sail the small port Les Basetes offer you it all. Les Basetes can be reached by walking from Patmore along the sea on the "paseo ecologico sur" The path along the sea. You can also get there by car from the Avinguida de la Marina. They have a big sign by the road to Calpe. You can rent equipment and get instruction by a very skilled crew. There are so many places to visit when you are in Patmore. I will try to describe some of them here. Guadalest is a very lovely mountain village founded in 715.
