The Adventures of Alex, Monica, Mateo and Eli. Wednesday, April 27, 2011. These are old pictures. Sorry, I haven't touched my camera in a couple of months. Here are Eli's latest tricks. I thought I'd write them down for the sake of journaling.is that even a word? 1 He's walking. Started taking steps a couple of weeks ago (10.5 months) and now hardly ever crawls. I can't keep up with his appetite. 3 He says words like Dada, Hadoo. The dog), hot, light, "AH" is "Mateo", Uh-oh, and of course, nana. 6 He's s...

The Adventures of Alex, Monica, Mateo and Eli. Thursday, February 17, 2011. When the Shee Hits the Fan. Things I have learned this month. 1 Crawling on cement floors really does hurt your knees. Poor Eli. 2 Having two sick kids really sucks. 3 Having to wake up all night (approximately every 30 min. to 2 hours) long for two sick kids sucks even more. Try doing it for a week. then going in to the teething stage, where he wakes up every hour and won't go back to sleep. 4 A Pepsi a day really is the only way.

The Adventures of Alex, Monica, Mateo and Eli. Monday, November 29, 2010. Man, I am on a blogging streak this week. I have to write this down before I forget. Me: Mateo, come here so I can tie your shoe. Let's give you a double knot. Mateo: What's a devil's knot? Me: I said DOUBLE knot, not DEVIL'S knot. Mateo: Oh, I thought you said devil. Are devils real? Have you ever seen one? Me: Um. come one, let's go get your coat on. Mateo: Mom, I like you guys. Thanks. I like you too. Wednesday, November 24, 2010.

http://monicapeterson.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
The Adventures of Alex, Monica, Mateo and Eli. Tuesday, November 8, 2011. This is our house under construction over a year ago. Below are some photos of the new projects we have been busy with. ("We" meaning Alex. I'm just the supervisor. But I do take credit for my newly upholstered and re-used kitchen and patio chairs.). New glass tile back splash. Z-Clip fence. no more deer. Minus the backache. Why is this underlining here? AHHH I hate this blogger program. A garden and sandbox. Eli at 16 months.

For Peterson's Sake: June 2010
http://monicapeterson.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
The Adventures of Alex, Monica, Mateo and Eli. Friday, June 18, 2010. How do people raise more than two children? Why do they choose to do so? How do you get your four year old to not constantly torment the newborn by touching his cheeks, poking his face, pulling his legs, etc? How do you get your newborn to sleep at night instead of all day. Why did I think that building a house this summer would be a good idea? But when I look at that precious, innocent baby, I know it's all worth it. Born May 25, 2010.

The Adventures of Alex, Monica, Mateo and Eli. Wednesday, July 13, 2011. Here are some recent quotes from Mateo. 1 Recently, Alex had four cavities filled. Mateo had two. M: You know dad, if you pray to Heavenly Father, he can help you not get cavities. He can even help you be a better brusher. But what if that doesn't work and I still get cavities? Does that mean HF isn't listening to my prayers? 2 There are 4 new houses under construction in our neighborhood. One is right next door.
