Sunday, December 4, 2011. Caleb at home and around town. Here are a few random pictures from over the past few weeks, just before and just after our trip back east. Caleb's barely visible in this picture and was on my chest when I took the next three, but these are the kinds of hike we like to go on with him. A clean, happy baby! Caleb snuggled up with Auntie Tami. Caleb in the Bumbo! We're just at the beginning of when he can use the Bumbo. Emmy in the Bumbo showing Caleb how it's done!

Monday, October 31, 2011. Halloween - such a great kid's holiday! Costumes, candy, and the fun of getting just a little bit frightened. what more could a little person want? Although Caleb's still too young to appreciate Halloween (or just about anything that doesn't involve eating, napping, or being held) we figured we'd drag him along for the experience. Since he doesn't yet fit into his chicken costume, we dressed Caleb up as Winnie the Pooh. Willy, nilly, silly old bear! Saturday, October 29, 2011.

Wednesday, November 30, 2011. Caleb's Big Trip, Part 3. Caleb wonders how long it'll take to fully grow into this here chair. We were treated to a snowstorm not long after we arrived - time to see how the Bob stroller handles in the snow. The Bob does a good job breaking trail as we strolled to the cheese shop! Monday, October 24, 2011. October has been a big month for us! First of all.Brandon passed the bar! Not that anyone really questioned it, but it was so great to see his name on the list and feel like it is officially over (for now). He was sworn in on Thursday and is now officially licensed to practice law in the state of Louisiana. I'm so proud of him. Genni with her Grandma Zeller. And with her Aunt Danielle. Yumpowdered sugar (we actually shook most of it off before giving it to her). We kept her birthday low-key. We invited a few friends for cake and ice cream and had a great time. She wasn't thrilled about the cupcake at first (she's a very picky eater), but once she tasted that frosting, she got a little more excited about it. She loves baby Sofia!

Tuesday, June 26, 2012. Growing, growing, growing. She's a very social baby. This is her friend Owen who was born hours after her, and in the same hospital. He is one of the cutest little boys ever! This was at the Children's Museum and it was a lot of fun. A lot of taking objects away right before or after they went into their mouths, but still a lot of fun. Owen got a little sneaky with his hand while I was taking the picture, but can you blame him? Genevieve frequently loses her toys under the couch.

Monday, November 21, 2011. November=Lots of Visits from Family! Luckily we love our family.because as it turns out, having a baby makes them all want to come visit! The first weekend of November my Dad and Debbie came for Genni's baby blessing. It was so much fun having them here! I think I can say with some confidence that my dad was in love the instant he picked up my baby. That's the face of a proud grandpa! Debbie was great at getting Genni to sleep, which was a wonderful relief for my arms!
