I have a sinus infection and it's kicking the crap out of me. My Dr called my sweet little boy a "cute petri. Dish" True, so true. I went to take a nap. When we got home this afternoon and woke up at 7pm. My husband is a rock star - played with Caleb, fed him and let me sleep. I woke up in time for bath and bedtime. Date night on Sunday! Have a great weekend!

Sunday, February 7, 2010. Time: 3pm, Sunday afternoon. Location: The kitchen table. Scenario: Caleb has had the following for snack: a piece of Aunt Nell's fig cake, two packages of fruit snacks (minus the red ones Momma ate befor giving them to him), a box of raisins and 10 marshmallows. Saturday, April 25, 2009. We have the plague. I don't think it's swine flu so no need to rush over with face masks and Lysol. There was a stomach virus going around daycare last week and somehow Juan and I managed to catch it while Caleb stayed healthy. Whatever. I suppose that I should be grateful and thank my lucky stars that my 1y old isn't projectile vomiting all over the house. Although. Plague the house while the boys sleep. No playing with swine! Sunday, August 30, 2009. It took about 18m or so but I'm now officially sure that my son is smarter than I am. Crap. He knows the word ball and he also knows that balls are meant to be thrown. Sunday, July 19, 2009. Our carpentry job, which we were originally told would only take 1 day, has now turned into a 4 day job. So I don't have any pictures of completed work yet. Let's just say that some of the work was not done correctly, and they are coming back to redo it. Thanks, Daddy, for pointing out all of their mistakes! We have a large dog, 2 cats, and a toddler. The carpet in our bedrooms will need to be replaced soon if we don't get laminate flooring in those rooms. Comments are welcome too.

Thursday, May 28, 2009. Is touring nurseries today, and Reese's nursery happens to be my favorite room in our home. Welcome to his elephant nursery! The day I found out I was having a boy, my mom and I looked at this bedding from Pottery Barn Kids. I love elephants and I knew it was exactly what I wanted, but it almost sold out before I got my hands on it. We were able to get everything but the elephant sheets. Made the cute "R" painting and my mom painted the antique dresser. I love the elephant lamp.
