Let's Take A Journey...: July 2010
http://letstakeajourney.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Let's Take A Journey. Sunday, July 25, 2010. I have been to Maypearl to Kerrville and back since Monday. I have to say I am beyond exhausted. I still haven't had a solid night's sleep, but I have high hopes for this evening. :). This week was church camp. Camp, for me growing up, was the most wonderful time of year. I remember climbing on the bus to go home each summer and dreading the fact that I had to wait a full year to come back. I love camp. Still do. That "missing piece" that I've felt for a while...
Let's Take A Journey...: December 2012
http://letstakeajourney.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Let's Take A Journey. Monday, December 17, 2012. When life seems unfair, I turn introspective. I struggle with questions like every normal person. Why is there so much evil? Why can't we make it stop? What could have been done differently to protect those precious children? Why won't the Lord just come back and rescue us from all this destruction? Do I lend a hand or volunteer my time? In this world you will have trouble. The world.” ( John 16:33) Prayer. I have prayer. Of dollars world-wide each year...

Let's Take A Journey. Tuesday, October 9, 2012. Life, as I know it. It's been a while since I've posted anything. Probably because I'm not changing jobs, or moving, or any of the other big adventures you're used to me doing. I'm just living life as it comes. I am still enjoying being a landman. Every day is a new challenge, but I feel successful and so very thankful. Next week will be one year with my broker, but I still have so much to learn! And surprisingly, I loved it! Decorations in a month (or so)!
A Lotus of Countless Petals: A Place for Failure
http://adrianeelaine.blogspot.com/2013/08/a-place-for-failure.html
Want to receive updates delivered directly to your email? All you have to do is subscribe below. A Place for Failure. In college I had a couple of professors that encouraged my classes to take a break before grad school, to venture into the world, so to speak, before continuing our music education. At the time this sounded preposterous. Why not continue while information was fresh? How valuable could experience really be? Why would I want real-world experiences in place of musical experiences? I don't ha...

Want to receive updates delivered directly to your email? All you have to do is subscribe below. Tonight before bed, I was reading the poetry of one of my favorites, Robert Service. I am currently in the process and planning of a couple of major ventures that seem impossible. I know that God is a God of the impossible. The difficult, but when I think about the particular projects I'm currently involved in, I know I can't do them in my own strength. Because of this, doubt creeps in as my faith waivers.
