I'm in a routine of basically trying to exhaust as much toddler energy as possible and moving out of the tv series marathon phase to the productive phase (hence a blog update). Caleb had his first haircut without sitting on Daddy's lap. He was such a big boy and sat patiently, though I think knowing he got a lollipop at the end had something to do with it.
