Thursday, October 30, 2014. I am currently 25 weeks pregnant. Last week for 24, I had Eden snap another pic. My doctor appointment got postponed until this week, however, so my stats are for week 25. Weight: 152.4 (gain from last 5 weeks: 9.6, total gain: 27.4.ick! Blood Pressure: 92/64 (low but 100% normal for me). I have been feeling pretty "normal." But it is definitely harder being pregnant now (at almost 38 years old) than it was even just a few years ago. My SI joint. Oh and of course don't forget ...

Here are some pictures (sadly, my lens has taken another tumble and I had no idea that the pictures wouldn't turn out so good.clearly I cannot depend on this lens, so I'm not sure what I'm going to do now):. This is the week that Micah and Eden are serving with the church youth group team in our city, called Operation St. Cloud. We stole them away for about 3 hours yesterday afternoon, though, so they could visit with us too. Julia and me and her real-life minecraft creation, lol.

Thursday, July 31, 2014. Today was a better day. After I sent last night's e-mail, I began thinking about the last day of VBS (which will be tomorrow. Thursday, or today for those you reading this "hot off the press". And how it would feel. I expect tearful goodbyes. I was thankful that Tuesday. Was not our last day. It would be awful to leave on that sour note (that my heart was feeling). Then I also remembered we are not promised tomorrow. Is the last day of VBS and will be our longest, hardest day....

Sunday, June 28, 2015. I wanted a new family photo with Genna in it before Mitch and Micah head off to Ukraine. It is a little tricky to catch everyone at once with my teens running in 3 different directions these days. Today we managed a quick shot after church. And by "quick", I mean lightning quick as far as large family photos go. It was a tough choice between these two for my favorite, but I went with the bottom one. Micah's eyes are halfway closed in the top one, and you can't see Genna's face.

Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Well we certainly have a lot of spring chickens around here. It's birthday fever with 4 birthdays in a matter of 6 weeks. How did that happen? We most recently celebrated a momentous milestone- Eden is 16! The long anticipated birthday brings hopes for a full year ahead. Eden currently has a permit and has been practicing driving all winter long. She hopes to earn her driver's license soon (maybe this summer? I bought a pretty bouquet of flowers for Eden}. Is taller than I am.

I got to do a lot of fun things, got to meet old friends and also some new ones - for that I am so incredibly thankful! Here are some things that I did this summer:. Enjoy the Minnesotan weather.
