life as WE know it: September 2010
http://johnandleahbaldauff.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Life as WE know it. Wednesday, September 1, 2010. John's dear grandfather [Pap] has passed away. John left for Pittsburgh early Tuesday morning, and I have lost my gumption without him here [although I do get more work done]. The funeral will be Saturday, so I plan to fly out there Friday evening. Although we are glad Pap doesn't have to live with dementia anymore, death is certainly never easy to swallow. Life as WE know it. Sunday, June 20, 2010. I am the most tired I have ever been. Tomorrow [or, today, I suppose] will be my first day off of work since I started my rotation two weeks ago. It has been a loooong run and I am so ready for this mini-break of one lovely Sunday. I hope it's the longest day of my life. I delivered a baby last Sunday at Roseland Hospital, which is where my dad was born 51 years ago. It was amazing. One week til Aaron and Jody's wedding.so excited! Monday, June 7, 2010. Jim in r...

http://fannyparker.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 31, 2013. We left St Charles this morning and made our way to Freeport Illinois, the home of the tower of plates. A tower made out of plates, sounds interesting doesn't it. But it's not. It wasn't worth our time. But it was on our way so it wasn't really out of our way. We stopped in Dickeyville at the. Holy Ghost Grotto, a shrine of weirdness. Cassville Wisconsin was our next stop. We drove along a Mississippi River and came into Cassville where we took the Cassville car ferry. I am now ...

Sunday, July 13, 2014. In light if the Tour Da Bridge( a bike ride involving my whole family) , that is happening this year, I have decided to be in shape. My goal is not to be towed with ropes up the hills. At least not the small hills. I've started running or in my case pushing! Starting small, I would push on the walking trail at the edge of town. Nothing fancy. We would walk at the park with our best friend Gail. Again nothing fancy. Then it was like, hey! Lets do a 5k! Sure, 3.1 miles, I got this.

life as WE know it: Bastille Day
http://johnandleahbaldauff.blogspot.com/2011/07/bastille-day.html
Life as WE know it. Friday, July 15, 2011. At the finish line we were handed a French flag and a mini cupcake sprinkled red, white, and blue. The best part: the t-shirt. It's the only real reason to run road races. And this may be the best race shirt I have ever received. Soft, heathered blue, Eiffel Tower. Thanks Mom, Dad, and John for cheering us along at the finish line. :). I think Bastille Day is my new pick holiday. Who wouldnt want to run with a baguette and a beret on their head? June 12, 2016.
