Sunday, November 2, 2008. We Have a Loft and a Decent Basement! For the loft, we had to unpack or move all the boxes, take the wonderful gold chairs to the basement (they are from Jeff's parents when we moved in), move the desk upstairs (disassembling it in the basement and reassembling it upstairs), move the boxing equipment to the garage for later installation there, and finally take our old TV and stand from the garage to the basement. When you first park your car, you have to take a ferry boat or the monorail to get the actually park. We decided to try the ferry boat just for fun the first day. We used the monorail after that. I'm not exactly sure why players flock to me for answers, but it seems as though everyone else in the game believes that I can answer their questions. Due to this knowledge, when someone I've teamed up with says "Hey, do you know where to find.", I can almost invariably say, "Why, yes I do! And off we go again.

Monday, March 2, 2009. Apostrophes Are Not (Aren't) That Difficult. One of my biggest pet peeves is bad grammar. Topping the list is the use of apostrophes. I am constantly reading things written by apostrophe abusers. Whether they don't know the correct usage of the cute punctuation mark or they are simply too lazy to use it properly, I find the errors endlessly. Can the apostrophe be that elusive to the average person? The correct apostrophe use if you change the word "apple" to "it" is " its seed.
