Family tid-bits from our everyday lives! Thursday, September 13, 2012. One of our first outings was our usual visit to the fish hatchery - one of our favorites! We try to get there earlier in the day while it is cool as shade is not overly common. It is great to see the salmon returning, learn a bit about the salmon hatchery and how they operate and enjoy the small nature trail. The kids really enjoyed it! Fun with friends. childhood memories. One walk was to an alpine lake called Hidden Lake, just above Lake Wenatchee. The walk was just under a mile, perfect for kids. The lake was beautiful! We had such a nice time, enjoyed our friends, the beautiful scenery and enjoyed getting away. Monday, June 22, 2009. Bella is 6 months old. Bella had her 6 month old pictures taken this past weekend. Where does the time go? Wednesday, December 30, 2009. Christmas was fairly quiet and relaxing this year. No big snow storms, no big meals to worry about (because no one came to visit this year). Kayden had a great time in front of the camera, which is rare. He usually runs instead of hamming it up. Kamieo, I guess you truly are a "baby whisperer". Thanks for the great photos. Thursday, November 26, 2009. Kayden and I tried our hand at building and decorating a Gingerbread House for the first time. James bought it yesterday and told Kayden I would help him make it. (Thanks honey! Anyways, we gave it a go, and I think it turned out okay. There wasn't as much frosting as I would have liked, and I think at least half of the candy ended up in Kayden's mouth before I was able to get it on the house, but we had fun nonetheless! Friday, March 27, 2009. Jen snapped this pic of Bella and I while we were at a baby shower. People always mention I never post pics of myself. I'm usually the one behind the camera (and I don't particularly like being in front of it). This is a picture of Kayden and his best friend, Addi. Wednesday, September 30, 2009. We went to Wapato Park this past weekend. Trying to enjoy the relatively nice weather before it's gone! The geese were very friendly, though probably only because they were hungry. A nice couple gave Kayden a hot dog bun to feed to them and showed him how to do it while I snapped pics.
