It really only took me about an hour, I used scraps of fabric (which I had to piece a little, part of what made it take so long) and some elastic I had on hand. I followed this tutorial: http:/ www.makeit-loveit.com/2012/09/the-square-circle-skirt-20-ish-minutes-to-make.html. This is a really cute blog! As always, I'm not a great photographer, but the skirt turned out adorable!

I found this cute cotton knit fabric in the discount bin several months ago, and I have been dying to use it for something cute. I found this tutorial. At Sew Much Ado for a simple little peasant dress and I was sold. It took me about an hour to make, and it only took that long because I didn't read all the instructions in one important step and had to do some seam ripping.oops!

I am so excited about this little gift I made for Melissa, I just had to post it. I think it turned out super cute! I hope she likes it, because I am in love with it. Saturday, March 16, 2013. So this is a week or two late, but Emma is walking now! She's so cute too. She's so good at it now that it's all she wants to do. She hasn't figured out how to stand up from sitting on the floor yet, so if she's sitting she will crawl over to something, pull herself up, and start waking from there. She is such a sweetie! She has also learned to climb the stairs (yikes! So we're training the boys to always shut the gates behind them! Jenn, Adam, Evan, Christian and Emma.

Monday, November 12, 2012. We had such a blast this Halloween! Uncle Jeremy came home from his mission the week before Halloween, Aunt Nikki and her girls were here, and we got to spend so much time with family! We just love spending time with family! Here a few of the fun things we got to do:. We visited the pumpkin patch with the girls. In the hay maze. This one looks good! She got tired of us trying to take her picture. Then of course we carved our pumpkins and went trick-or-treating.

Monday, July 30, 2012. So almost exactly a month ago we celebrated Evan's birthday. He is 5 years old! We had a ton of fun celebrating with him. We got to celebrate together at home, at MiMi's house, and again at home with a ton of family. Evan is such a fun kid, and we are so blessed to have such an awesome family to celebrate with! Wednesday, September 26, 2012. So last month Mom and I took the kids over to the children's museum in Rock Hill for a play date. It's a pretty small place in an old bank building in downtown Rock Hill, and the kids had a blast! Christian spent most of his time at the train table, Little and Evan ran around climbing up and down things together, and Emma pretty much slept the whole time. :) We had so much fun and can't wait to do it again! Thursday, December 13, 2012. A couple of weeks ago we decided to take the kids to the movies to see Wreck It Ralph. And yep, we even took Emma! She did so great, snacking on her popcorn and drinking her sod- -er.uh. water? Anyway, Adam had to get up and walk around with her during the last 15 minutes or so, but before that she was great!
