Called to... Something: Action Monday #1 - Commitment to Action
http://calledtosomething.blogspot.com/2012/06/action-monday-1.html
Called to. Something. A spiritual search for an answer that fits. Action Monday #2 - Commitment to Greening. Action Monday #1 - Commitment to Action. On February 10, 2008, I felt a sense of being called. and created One Joy, One Sorrow. A year-long project that greatly benefitted my life. As of October 2009, I still feel called to action, yet am a bit lost as to where to go. This project is tied to my search - a journey that will hopefully prove beneficial to my readers as well. A Lifetime of Dubious Success: June 2010
http://alifetimeofdubioussuccess.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
A Lifetime of Dubious Success. I'm living the dream. The really, really weird dream. I planned this poorly. This is a pretty lousy post to put this blog on pause, but, well, I'm leaving for Thailand in a few hours. I'll check you in August. My cousins are getting married tomorrow and invited all the guests to be the wedding band. So I said hey Brandon. You wanna play sax and I'll sing this song? So we got our cousin (who is an amazing professional musician) to play that and another bossa nova standard.
Candid Cannes': Waaaaay Overdue
http://candidcannes.blogspot.com/2011/08/waaaaay-overdue.html
Sunday, August 21, 2011. Here are some pictures of her room. I created the quilt on ETSY. I picked out the fabrics and a lady sewed it together. I love how it turned out. Here are a couple pictures of the belly. Once again this is another thing I have not done well at documenting! Although I did not document this pregnancy like I did your brother's it does not mean I have thought about you any less. Your father and I chose your name because it is a version of the Greek. Candid Cannes': May 2011
http://candidcannes.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 14, 2011. So I'm super late making this post given I've known for like a month. but.IT'S A GIRL! Just like last time with Caleb the ultrasound is so amazing. It makes it even more real getting to see her and watching her move around in there. It's also fun because I get to do some shopping for girl clothes.which are so much cuter than boy clothes! For me knowing the sex greatly helps me connect to the baby and I love that I can call her by name.(drumroll please).Carissa. Picture of my eye.
Candid Cannes': November 2009
http://candidcannes.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 13, 2009. So I'm finally getting around to blogging about the delivery. The weekend prior to d-day I went to a wedding in Chicago. Michael and I had been joking for many weeks that the trip (10 hours in a car) would induce labor and I predicted I would go into labor sometime the week following the trip. Little did we know that I would actually be right! And i explained my water broke and thus began my labor. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A Slice of Downing Life. Gorsch Moment in Time.
Candid Cannes': May 2009
http://candidcannes.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 15, 2009. Grass, Mothers Day, and 15 Weeks. This was our yard when we bought the house last August. What a hideous bush! This spring none of the already sparse grass grew back :) . So we planted sod and this is what it looks like now! Also notice my vegetable/flower bed to the right although all the plants are too small to see in this picture. . Sunday, May 3, 2009. My first blog ever! This weekend was crazy! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A Slice of Downing Life. Gorsch Moment in Time.
Candid Cannes': sayonara month six
http://candidcannes.blogspot.com/2009/08/sayonara-month-six.html
Sunday, August 23, 2009. What can I say about the sixth month of pregnancy. I really enjoyed it! I think it will be my best month of pregnancy for many reasons. One being that people could tell I was pregnant :) and so they talked to me about it which is always fun. Most of my clients also started asking and so I got some funny responses. Another client found out I was pregnant and said to me "I thought you were just getting fat. i'm glad that's not the case". In addition the baby was so active this mont...
Candid Cannes': December 2009
http://candidcannes.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 8, 2009. So Caleb will be 7 weeks tomorrow and I have written nothing about my experience as a mom. One of the reasons is obviously lack of time. However if I'm going to be candid it's also because I didn't know what to write without being negative. These last seven weeks have been some of the most challenging of my life. Everything I read said newborns often sleep 16 hours a day. Not even close to the truth for our situation. My mom often calls him the "energizer baby" because ...It's ...

Called to Stay
An Uncompromising Mission to Save Your Church. Caleb Breakey prays to God you do. In Called to Stay. Breakey takes a refreshingly honest look at the church, the problem with Millennials leaving, and the stark reality of why the church desperately needs them. And a changed church can change the world. Alex and Brett Harris. Is a semi...
