Jay + Rosie: October 2010
http://jayrosiewright.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Wouldn't you say that that is an ominous fruit platter? Thanks for the tomatoes Mom and Dad. A Tower of Terror(ible calories). I am such a nerd for appetizers. Also served but not pictured: brie with toasted walnuts and craisins, florentine spinach artichoke dip, mini eclairs and ubiquitous party punch. As always, way too much food for the number of people attending. Spindel Man, Spindel Man. Peter and Wu warm up on the bouldering wall. Up, up, and away! Wu scaled that overhang like it was nothing. Is th...

Experimenting with Photo Sizes. This blog is finally starting look like how I want it to. With you and the Mox, beach time is the best time. Thank you for giving me the much needed sunshine time. Come back soon! We'll even have a room for you to stay in. No bed still, but there will be a door. Embarrassing Encounter with Neighbors #2. Well, technically it was with one of my cubicle neighbors at work, but I'm still counting it. How can you go to Pike's Place Market without taking a picture of produce?

Jay + Rosie: December 2010
http://jayrosiewright.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Well, I hope you can tell that we had a great time. Thank you to everyone who when we were wondering whether or not to go said, "That's a great idea.you should do it.go.go now.go already." The trip was easy and relaxing, and I loved every bit of it. This beach just south of the Tulum ruins was my favorite of the trip. Checking out the town sqaure of Merida, the second oldest Spanish colonial city. Seconds earlier a Dolorian driving at 88 mph disappeared. Playing with the fluorescent filter. Whipped up a ...

Jay + Rosie: Close Up at the Art Institute of Chicago
http://jayrosiewright.blogspot.com/2015/05/close-up-at-art-institute-of-chicago.html
Close Up at the Art Institute of Chicago. Sorry as usual these chicago posts are sequenced backward and i can't figure out an easy fix. Love Love. Love. Love. The Art Institute of Chicago was great with a big variety of art. With my schedule completely up to me, I just ended up spending a lot of time here. There are a lot of iconic and instantly recognizable pieces here. I only took a few photos of things that I felt particularly drawn to or fascinated by. Another edition of the Find the Best Sandals Game.

calvin, emily, zachary, & austin: July 2013
http://smithcolorado.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Calvin, emily, zachary, and austin. Monday, July 15, 2013. In the morning we packed up camp and headed just down the road to the Moffat Tunnel to do some hiking. We have been meaning to go there for years, and this campground was so close that it worked out perfectly. We got to watch a couple of trains go through the tunnel. The boys waved to the conductor, who kindly blew the whistle and waved back. They were thrilled. Lots of silly faces that day. Austin gives me every dandelion he finds. The boys slep...

Calvin, emily, zachary, and austin. Thursday, May 30, 2013. Just some everyday moments from recently. Zach has been into hunting bugs lately. He and Papa have been taking pictures and posting them on a website called project noah. He is excited about it and always wanting me to take bug pictures. We had such late snow this year. This was in May! At least now we are done with the snow! These moments are slipping by so quickly. Sunday, May 19, 2013. Here are some of my favorites:. Thursday, May 9, 2013.

calvin, emily, zachary, & austin: November 2013
http://smithcolorado.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Calvin, emily, zachary, and austin. Thursday, November 14, 2013. Pumpkin carving. We had a good time, but neither boy was excited about touching the "pumpkin guts.". Can you guess who carved each pumpkin? The boys really wavered this year when they were trying to choose costumes. Austin was excited to be a "workerman," and once we had that idea he stuck with it. So fitting! Zach finally decided to be a pirate. The costume ended up being really last minute, but it was cute. Thursday, November 7, 2013.

Jay + Rosie: Uncategorized Bits of May
http://jayrosiewright.blogspot.com/2015/06/uncategorized-bits-of-may.html
Uncategorized Bits of May. Another Memorial Day weekend, another I Modonnari Festival. This blog is getting repetitive. With a squirmy girl in our arms this year though, we didn't end up taking very many pictures. And a few shots from Jay's cell phone. I've been pretty lazy about taking pictures lately so I'm always happy when I find a treasure trove of images on his phone. Alice has also been into helmets (or "hat" in Alicespeak) lately. She's taken to wearing her little bike helmet around the house.
