Where I've been and what I've done. So I have been a busy little person this past week.making tiaras! My Mom and I traveled to North Carolina to learn the proper techniques on constructing a ballet tiara. I used the Snow Queen pattern and added and altered it to make it unique. My Mom made the Arabian pattern. I love all of the swirls on the side of the head! Spraying it to match the dancers hair, then by pinning it in place it will stay on your head. My next project that I have currently brewing is a civil war dress! In created my civil war costume, I wanted to start on the essentials because they will change the fit of the dress and I want to do an excellent fitting job. The fit of a costume is super important to me. Since I have already made my chemise, the next item is to create my corset. I already created a corset mock up using a tutorial. Where I've been and what I've done. I am so excited because this weekend my months of hard work are finally on stage. The ballet is called Alice in Wonderland. My part in helping is creating alot of the headpieces and embellishing certain costumes and certain pieces of costumes.
