Perhaps you recognize some of them. You can click on the picture to make it larger. I't would be fun to make a movie.one flower at a time in its place,. But that is a project for next year! We had frost early this week but was able to gather these as i took a quiet walk around the garden with my snips. Above is the cold version of my favorite rose, st. swithin. I used chocolate scented geranium for a collar of foliage. A few sprigs of borage in front of the delicate scabiosa. Really, i have seriously fallen in love with yarrow. You'll be seeing a lot more of it next year. It is this comin...

This evening the sun was shining through these thorns - blood red and and absolutely beautiful. 8220;Some people are like thorns. But you have to let them be thorns, because thorns can't turn into petals. The trick is not letting them prick you; never let a thorn prick you! The year's at the spring. And day's at the morn;. Morning's at seven;. The hillside's dew-pearled;. The lark's on the wing;.

fairest flowers farm: April 2015
http://fairestflowersfarm.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 27, 2015. Today's project was to prepare the holes for the dahlias. Remember, 2 years ago, i hired somebody to dig these holes out with a pike. Well, rocks grow. And this year's harvest was pretty good! Some things i just don't understand. And yes, i did this all by myself this year. After removing the rocks i went round and fluffed it up. Then went back and forth to the manure pile and added 3 shovelfulls to each hole. Everybody gets all freaked out by horse manure. Tuesday, April 21, 2015.
