Methodist Minister, Mother of four little angels! View my complete profile. As this blog was set up to share my journey through candidating, it's job is over. In September I start the next stage of my journey and my training. . I think however that I will continue to write here, to track how things go during my ministerial training.

Sussex Methodist: September 2010
http://asussexmethodist.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
A Trip Post Candidating. Wednesday, 29 September 2010. What a month - Joe started "big school", Ash left for Uni, Hana and I started final year studies. I'm back on placement this time in the Worthing circuit, very different from Dorset Gardens! It has been great to be with a selection of supervisors and to be allowed time both to do and to be! I am really looking forward to the journey through Advent and Christmas with them all. Monday, 20 September 2010. Yesterday we drove Ashleigh to Docklands and hel...

Sussex Methodist: All change
http://asussexmethodist.blogspot.com/2010/09/all-change.html
A Trip Post Candidating. Monday, 20 September 2010. Wow, I knew it would be hard when the first of my children left home - but I was completely unprepared for how hard. Yesterday we drove Ashleigh to Docklands and helped her sort out her new room, unpack all her things, fill in a host of forms, and start to settle into the new phase of her life. Things won't be the same here again, but we will soon learn how to live with the changes. It's only for a moment you are mine to hold. The plans that heaven has ...

A Trip Post Candidating. Monday, 27 April 2009. Well here it is, the morning of the Connexional Interviews. It was very unlike me but I woke at 5 this morning (maybe my body is a bit nervous! Sussex Methodist: January 2011
http://asussexmethodist.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
A Trip Post Candidating. Tuesday, 11 January 2011. The light at the end of the tunnel. It is now January 2011 and the light at the end of the tunnel has appeared! A journey that started in April 2006 when I was Accepted 'on Note' as a Methodist Local preacher, is about to end another stage and change direction once again. There is still much work to be done before the end of the academic year and concentrating on work and not getting "demob happy" will be my greatest challenge yet because. I think howeve...

Sussex Methodist: June 2009
http://asussexmethodist.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
A Trip Post Candidating. Sunday, 28 June 2009. Endings and new beginnings. The last three days were my final time away as a Foundation training student which was very strange indeed - the seven of us have travelled a long way together in two and a half years, and shared many things both good and bad. . I set off believing I would be in need of my tissues for this emotional time, but for most of the time we were together we celebrated our training together. . Methodist Conference is next week, and this is...
