Free Love: April 2009

Saturday, April 18, 2009. TANTRA YOGA ALL DAY LONG. Much time has passed without a posting - I know. I was in Rishikesh. This town has the most treasured bookstores with original translations that provide answers to the much asked questions, such as why do we do yoga, and what benefits can we expect? Before then it was an oral tradition. The original Patanjali. Books on yoga very clearly mention that each yoga asana. Should be held for 3 hours and 48 minutes! Needless to say, I practice yoga all day long.

Free Love: CHITWAN PARK
http://mariasirriya.blogspot.com/2009/03/chitwan-park.html
Sunday, March 22, 2009. Yesterday I felt happiness, today I feel free. Despite our collective illnesses, Louise, Lucy and I decide to go on another adventure, Chitwan Park for 2 nights. We continued onto Chitwan Park and got to ride on the rooftop of a Nepali bus for 2 hours. Swerving through the mountains was just as exiting. That evening at Chitwan Park we went to the Cultural Show. We all had very low expectations. It ended up being the coolest thing I had ever seen! The next day we went to the elepha...

Free Love: LOVE PEOPLE
http://mariasirriya.blogspot.com/2009/05/love-people.html
Thursday, May 21, 2009. The first picture up top is the last day of the Tibetan kalachakra ceremony. This powerful tradition revolves around the concept of time and cycles, from the cycles of the planets, to the cycles of human breathing, it teaches the practice of working with the most subtle energies within one's body on the path to enlightenment. It was an amazing and most memorable experience. I did not want to leave Bagsu. The northern part of Mclead. A group of us took a taxi together to Bagsu.

Thursday, February 5, 2009. Thank you for taking the time to read my blog. In two days the journey begins, or shall I say, continues. Two weeks ago, my being was inhibited by a sour heartache. Now, the sweetest sensation of space is inflating my spirit. You will all be in my heart.and knowing me, I will probably dedicate a yoga practice to one of you each day. So look out for the intoxicating vibes. 8221; The follow-up question is always, what do you hope to find? Authenticity is the answer.

Free Love: NEPALI CREAM
http://mariasirriya.blogspot.com/2009/03/nepali-cream.html
Sunday, March 22, 2009. Told me that when bringing energy into the body, it is not enough to think mantras such as "I am strong, I am happy, I am free." He advised that it is necessary to recall. A time when I felt strong, happy or free. For days I tried to retrieve moments from my databank. But the past seems so far away when traveling. Louise and Lucy had a tight schedule in Nepal so they wanted to get to the mountains right away. We decided to go trekking to Nagarkot. The view from Nagarkot. The next ...

Thursday, May 21, 2009. I am now in Thailand studying even more yoga. The weather is somewhere around perfect degrees everyday. One of the loveliest benefits of traveling is that there is lots of time to read books. "The Alchemist" mentions that the world wants you to realize your destiny, thus it gives you a big push once you start walking in the right direction. At this amazing yoga school they explain it differently. They ask what do you give back to the world, what kind of energy are you emitting?

Free Love: SHANTI
http://mariasirriya.blogspot.com/2009/03/shanti.html
Sunday, March 22, 2009. If you visit India and it gets overwhelming. Don't run home, just go to Nepal. There are no mosquitoes. Here, green mountains and jungles, and lakes.it's amazing! The locals are friendly and not every person wants to talk to you. Finally, shanti. In Kathmandu, Louise and Lucy found me right away (the girls we ran into in Delhi and met in Bodgaya. We met some awesome Nepalese. Girls at the bar, Sumi. And Nita, which I will probably see again. Yeah, girl power for a change!
