Vivos Voco: October 2010
http://calltheliving.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
A collection of ramblings briefly interjected with bolts of inspiration, all composed while serving the Peace Corps in St. Kitts and Nevis. Monday, October 25, 2010. I have had the good fortune of also meeting some amazing people in the past 2 months, both volunteers and locals. We've all had the opportunity to do some great things, from taking a catamaran/snorkeling trip to participating and being "baptized" into the local Hash House Harriers. Sunday, October 3, 2010. A collection of ramblings briefly interjected with bolts of inspiration, all composed while serving the Peace Corps in St. Kitts and Nevis. Thursday, September 23, 2010. The Island of National Holidays. It has just been a whirlwind of activity lately on the island, so I can finally sit down to write about it. Last Thursday was National Heroes' Day. On Saturday our Assistant Peace Corps Director (APCD) took our training class on a field trip/cultural day at Brimstone Hill Fortress. View my complete profile.

A collection of ramblings briefly interjected with bolts of inspiration, all composed while serving the Peace Corps in St. Kitts and Nevis. Monday, April 4, 2011. You've come a long way. No, that is not very nice, but it is brotherly. I'm actually happy to have family on the island, especially my brother. 2 weeks is a lengthy enough time to be able to show him all of the key places on the island and get some quality beach time as well. A collection of ramblings briefly interjected with bolts of inspiration, all composed while serving the Peace Corps in St. Kitts and Nevis. Tuesday, January 25, 2011. Obviously I have not held up my end of the bargain to post more frequently. Oops. Wait! There was a time during the winter break where I felt like I wasn't doing much, but now that school has started again I am feeling like I'm actually helping out with something. I mean, that's what I'm doing here anyways, right? View my complete profile.

Breakfast @ Tiffany's: September 2009
http://toomuchtiff.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
My life as a Peace Corps volunteer on the island of St.Kitts. Monday, September 21, 2009. Some of the really cool things I got to do last week were a Zip Line Safari through the rain forest, a beach trip to beach to Dieppe Bay, a trip on the St.Kitts scenic railroad, and an Independence Day celebration at the Governor's House. The Zip Line and railroad trip were just by chance! I can't wait for the next soiree. Links to this post. Sunday, September 13, 2009. The secret lives of EC trainees. Wow, I'm just...

My life as a Peace Corps volunteer on the island of St.Kitts. Wednesday, February 9, 2011. I have said it before, blogging is hard! While here in St. Kitts, something happens every day to change my mood from high, to low, and back again. It is very difficult for me to capture it all in words, but I am going to try. It is such a weird feeling to see the end in sight. There have been so many days where I felt like tearing my hair out, or giving up a pinkie toe to get off this freakin' rock! Other highlight...
Pepperstorm | Camille in the Caribbean

Camille in the Caribbean. Chronicling my journey with the Peace Corps. A storm came Sunday. It was unexpected, unannounced, uninvited. Some storms, like this one, devastate and leave a wake of tears and chaos and confusion, and we are left to search the remnants of a life transformed to make sense of a senseless wrath. Such was the nature of our Pepperstorm sister. Creative, gentle, compassionate, and conscious. A truth seeker whose loving spirit rests in the forms she created with her. 8212; for Jennifer.

Breakfast @ Tiffany's: A year and a Sunday!
http://toomuchtiff.blogspot.com/2011/02/year-and-sunday.html
My life as a Peace Corps volunteer on the island of St.Kitts. Thursday, February 3, 2011. A year and a Sunday! A year, and a Sunday," is one of my favorite island expressions. Basically it means a very long time, or more specifically an inordinate amount of time. So yes, I realize that it has been a year, and a Sunday since my last post. Several of my friends have been encouraging me to write, and I am so very flattered by their interest. We want more blogging please :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
