A tangle of thoughts. After such a good day yesterday, and a build up week that was positive, I am on a low today. Sleeping too much and just wanting to lie in bed and die. Not actively seek it, but just accepting that it’s better if I’m not here, better for my family who I’m letting down and for myself as I’m clearly not capable of being ‘normal’ anymore. A tangle of thoughts. Survived my youngest daughters double birthday – party one day followed by birthday next day – along with two carol concerts for middle and youngest. How the pressure builds as schools end their terms and christmas is soon with us. My mission over the next few weeks will to be to occupy my children but to find some relaxing activities along the way including getting out for walks with the dog and some fresh air. A tangle of thoughts. During out weekend family walk – a new habit we’re forming. As a family we’re forming a new habit, that each weekend we spend the time together to take a walk in our environment. No phone’s (other than for camera purposes), no internet used, just good old walking and family time. A tangle of thoughts. First time I’ve noticed a trigger to my mood spiralling. I know that uni is a trigger, but wasn’t ready to cope with the mere mention of it causing my mood to spiral. I’m low again today, it’s getting deeper as the afternoon and now evening wears on. It re-confirms my wishes that I should just quit uni, but then the fighting part of me when I’m well is determined that 6 years of education not be wasted by no degree to show for it.
