Sunday, June 19, 2005. Web Journal Entry, Week Six #2. Today, the New York Times ran an article by Russel Shorto called "What's Their Real Problem with Gay Marriage? He calls gay marriage "the new abortion" because first of all, "as with abortion, conservatives see gay marriage as a culture-altering change being implemented by judicial fiat."
