Level 89 and Level 101 contain office and technical space for SSI and our guests. Access to these rooms is through the Level 89 lobby adjacent to the Operations Support Center (OSC). Once inside, there are two stairwells on the south side of the admin areas that provide access to Level 101.

The picture to the left is looking East from the Transporter Airlock door to the Lower Transfer Tower. Processing Cell #1 is accessed through the yellow doors on the South. Processing Cell #2 is accessed through the orange doors on the South. Processing Cell #3 is accessed through the blue doors on the South. CCTV Cameras opposite each Processing Cell.

Storage Rooms

Key lock storage rooms are located at the west end of each floor of the Operations Area. They are approximately 95 sq. ft. with a 9’ ceiling. At Level 69 the room number is 6904, but at the other levels they are numbered 7905-12905. These areas are available for general storage, particularly small ordnance. Room 6904 looking west toward the double entry doors. Levels 79 and 89 is also unique. These rooms are used as the Control Rooms and are not part of the clean-room area. Room 6902 looking northeast.

Garment Change Rooms

There are two Change Rooms (8931 and 8932). Room 8931 provides lockers for outer garments while 8932 is the area for changing into clean suits. Pictured above is the outer garment or Initial Change Room. Room 8931 provides, tacky mats, 60 lockers for outer garments, shoe cleaning unit, and vacuum system outlet. Clean garments are stored in room 8931 for access and distribution. Access to all Processing (clean-room) areas is only through these rooms. Conductivity checker for booties and wrist straps.

Transfer Tower/Airlock

Transfer Tower / Airlock. The Lower Tower Area is a 27’ extension of the Highbay, but at Level 69, which is 5' above the Highbay floor at Level 64. It provides an additional 10,000 (ISO 7) clean area for processing or payload encapsulation. The primary use of the Transfer Tower Area is for removal of payloads greater than 25’ high (too large for the Transporter Airlock door). The lower Tower Area is serviced by two cranes:.
