I am drawn to nature; I love the shapes of leaves and trees, flowers and plants, the glimmer of water, the haze that can be found in the air. It's astounding how striking nature can be if left alone. or even cultivated. I took one shot of these on a whim at the botanical gardens and was happily surprised. I wanted to catch the feeling of cold loveliness.

I am especially fond of black and white photos when it comes to objects. I believe the lack of color can make what may be ordinary extraordinary with the sudden contrasts. I love how you can take a white plastic-looking 3d object and transform it into almost anything with the right texture. Caly has the Blues.
