My carrots and beets had just started germinating in their perfect little (Yay OCD! Square foot gardening grid, and Piddle Kitty not only kicked the crap out of the sowing pattern to make room for her buried treasure, but also ruined the wholesome dream of pulling a carrot from the bed and gnawing away. January 23, 2015. 3 Granny Smith apples. 1 large raw beet. 1-2 knobs peeled ginger root. Chop everything to fit through a juicer (like my Omega VRT350) and portion into three half pint mason jars. My dog loves the pulp from the carrots and apples, so I tend to juice those first, share, then add the other ingredients. 🐾🍏. November 14, 2014.
