Acid dyes and a microwave. June 11, 2015. We had a dye workshop on Thursday June 4th, Maggie our Fearless Leader (aka Chair of the North Herts Guild) prepared acid dyes for us to try out. We had a choice of red, yellow, blue and black dye and we brought along a selection of animal yarn and fibre to experiment on. Guild members hard at work:. Four Corners / Have a go day – Feb 2015. March 1, 2015. We had an enjoyable day of crafting on Sat 21 February. We had several areas with textile crafts on the go – spinning, weaving and felting. We welcomed two new people to our group, and more experienced people also enjoyed learning new things. Thanks to everyone who came along and shared their skills.
