Nature in the Park. There are now 2 ponds. The lower pond which is at the site of the Preaching Braes and the newly restored upper pond further up the glen. You can get to the park by train or bus. And of course by foot, bike and car (please be aware that there is no car parking within the park). The nearest train stations are Kirkhill (5 mins walk from the park) and Cambuslang (10/15 mins walk from the park). . No 172 comes along Cairns Road. Click link opposite for timetable.
