Saturday, 16 July 2011. We've made it to La Carriere. We made it to La Carriere Ouest, near Allemans-du-Dropt. This happened three days ago and since then we have all been extraordinarily lazy. Since Nogent-le-Rotrou, we've stopped at Sonzay, then Chauvigny, followed by a mammoth day to les Gorges du Chambron, a shorter one to Tocane-Saint-Apre and then a stretch down here to La Carriere. Following Ed's previous post these are the next ten things that we've learnt:. 4) Ed Hyde always does as he's told.

Friday, 8 July 2011. In McDs in Nogent le Rotrou. They serve beer! But also charge 10 euros for a 6 chicken Mcnugget meal, chin up Niall. Things we've learnt:. 1 cycling into the wind is a flipping nightmare. 2 Hyde is prone to a random vom. 3 Charlie's cycling speed is directly proportional to the amount of chicken (rotisserie) he's eaten. 4 Niall's facial hair still looks like mud. He is also probably gay. 5 France is devoid of people, except in McDs. 6 Bears are always shitting in woods.
