Sunday, December 5, 2010. I did have Thanksgiving for about 20 people. Mike and Leslie couldn't come as she was hosting her family.Again we had too much food. It was all good and I think a lovely day. I have mailed packages to my boys and families so there's not much left to do for Christmas.There's too many shoppers out already. Tuesday, July 26, 2011. It's been 6 long months. I didn't have a lot of company but it was great when Mel, Kris, and Kelly came and stayed a few days to celebrate their big 5-0 Birthdays.They said they had a great time. I did have family for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Jack likes to work in the kitchen so that was a great big help. News is sad tonight. A couple have died in Tonawanda from the heat and there was a special on the young man who fell out of the roller coaster. Its been 6 long months.

Wednesday, February 24, 2010. Time is going by too fast.I just had company from Auburn, Indiana. Don and Joey Aiken have been in Florida for a couple of weeks. They stayed here for 4 days. We went to some yard sales and an antique store. Ron paid tribute to Laura for her attention to him through his knee ordeal in his blog. Tuesday, October 4, 2011. OK I'll try again. Recovering from a 5,000 mile trip out west. Saw so much- The River Walk, and Alamo in San Antonio. Sedona and Grand Canyon and Bryce Canyon. Rode the train up Pike's Peak. Saw the 10 buried cadillacs in Amarillo Texas and rode some on rt. 66. Stopped on the way home to see Bill's 2 brothers and wives, Patrick and Shawna in Tenn. Wednesday, March 21, 2012. The weather this year has been fantastic, with only a few light freezes in December. This week it has been 80 every day, 60 during the night. No AC or heat required. It has been mostly sunny, with very little rain.It is so dry, they are comparing it with 2008, when they had major grass and field fires throughout Florida.
