stealing oreos: March 2010
http://stealingoreos.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 5, 2010. I went through a break-up recently. Because BYU-Idaho is the cornucopia of dating, people are trying to get me back on my feet and "back in the game." Though their attempts are commendable, they are not quite working. Here's why:. Out of sight, out of mind. It's true. When we no longer see someone they will sooner or later escape your memories. But define "sight.". What happens if you see her in a beautiful painting? Or in a melodic song? Or in another woman's face? Translation for...

stealing oreos: February 2011

Friday, February 18, 2011. Disagreement is not the same as "Entitlement". A bunch of entitled brats. Ver two centuries ago a document was written which demanded rights for a group of farmers who felt that the policies imposed by their mother government were not fair. The document stated that there were certain rights that they were “unalienable” and are “endowed by their Creator.”. However, if students have grievances with a policy they should be able to express them, especially if those students are spe...

stealing oreos: Mistakes help us learn
http://stealingoreos.blogspot.com/2010/12/mistakes-help-us-learn.html
Monday, December 13, 2010. Mistakes help us learn. Film forces you to make mistakes. It's a good thing. In the Shakespearean play "Othello", the character Iago said, ". But men are men; the best sometimes forget.". No one is perfect. Yet, it is easy to forget this when your scholarship depends on what happens in the testing center. The shock on their face after hearing this is more entertaining to me than NBC on a Thursday night. There is a reason why this seemingly archaic medium is so important to a ph...

stealing oreos: Seattle: Days 20-22: "Wrapping up"
http://stealingoreos.blogspot.com/2010/08/seattle-days-20-22-wrapping-up.html
Tuesday, August 24, 2010. Seattle: Days 20-22: "Wrapping up". It is the day before I leave Seattle. I am going to miss this place, but it is time to continue on. I need to see my family at home before I go back to school. On Sunday I went to a singles ward meeting where converts spoke about how they came to find the church. I realized that this area is full of people who have found themselves here just like me. I fit in. For now, it's time to pack. I'll miss this place. September 21, 2010 at 5:40 AM.

stealing oreos: June 2010
http://stealingoreos.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 16, 2010. A grudge is like a hand grenade. You shouldn't hold on to it for to long. You could hang on to either for as long as you like, but the consequences are equally as deadly. I tend to hold on too long. Forgiveness does not come natural. It is a matter of conditioning. If someone has wronged to us, we hold it against him or her because of the negative experience we now have. The speed of her flight to another man. I cannot let go because of what she did,. But I have to. I pondered f...

stealing oreos: New Epidemic: Split Relationship Disorder
http://stealingoreos.blogspot.com/2011/01/new-epidemic-split-relationship.html
Friday, January 7, 2011. New Epidemic: Split Relationship Disorder. Working hard to keep it from spreading. Men have feelings. That being said, a man’s feelings can be hurt. Heartache is impossible to avoid in the dating world. However, some pain can be prevented. Though women are not necessarily to blame, they tend to have this disorder more than men do. Lately, there has been an outbreak of Split Relationship Disorder that is causing needless torment. Acting as two different people in a relationship is...

Friday, April 23, 2010. I recently read an article from the New York Times about a series of bombings in Baghdad that killed 58 people on Friday. It was devastating to see what happened to the people who were killed. The photos attached to the article show the devastation that occurred. I suffer no trials.

stealing oreos: A few comments on the responses on my column
http://stealingoreos.blogspot.com/2011/01/few-comments-on-responses-on-my-column.html
Friday, January 28, 2011. A few comments on the responses on my column. I would like to say a few things about my recent column in light of all the animosity that I have received. First, is curfew really for our morality? If someone wants to be sexual deviant, then curfew only becomes another rule to break. It is true that I knew what I was signing up for when I became enrolled in the school. That doesn't mean that I should ignore the policies that I disagree with. Conversely, it means that I sho...Final...
