Shua and the Vikings! Thursday, September 25, 2008. I was eating lunch the other day and noticed a strange situation taking place on the street. There was a gentleman who was walking across the street, in a crosswalk, and a car did not stop to let him cross. All the sudden, a police car threw his car in drive, flipped on the sirens and took off after this car. Yep, another police car flipped on the sirens and pulled the guy over. Sunday, August 17, 2014. Clouds bumping into each other. She started giggling at that and told me those are just silly rain clouds and they are not scary at all! She has still been scared and come in but I go put her back to bed and talk to her about those silly rain clouds and she gets to giggling and goes back to sleep. Saturday, March 28, 2015. I wanted to do something as a family of 4 before Rix came and I decided we should go to the Zoo. It was a saturday and turned out to be the day of the Zoo 5K Run so they were super busy, and it turned out to be a very hot day in the middle of March! Dave and Abby: Paige's Heart Surgery

The Thuets of Whidbey Island. Friday, February 24, 2012. Well, it's done. Two and a half years after discovering a heart murmur, Paige's Atrial Septal defect is repaired. Everything went beautifully. The surgery began at 7:30 am and took only 2 hours. By 10am the following morning, Paige was discharged from the hospital and we took her home. The most difficult parts of the entire experience were going under and coming out of sedation, as well as our over-night stay. She was in a more calm environment.

Wednesday, May 14, 2014. The girls have figured out how to jump over the edge of the crib and get in. Also they love to "plank" on the top of their crib as well as make bridges.
