This is my view looking north out the window above part of my typing desk. The other window, above my typing platform, faces west looking out over the meadow. It wasn't until after I looked at these pictures that I realized how WORN the platen is! It's amazing that none of the usual characters such as periods, commas and dashes did not punch any holes in the single. I also didn't realize just HOW really dirty this machine is. Embarrassing? A bit of rust, too. Just call me Spotty! Going to clean you up.
