4th Anniversary in NYC. Last week, we road-tripped up to NYC to submit our residence permit applications at the Danish Consulate. Todd hates cities, NYC especially, so he was not looking forward to this trip. My goal was to change his mind. We started our trip on Friday morning. We did all the final chores in Raleigh and schlepped our mountain of luggage to the airport. We rode in a small plane for our connecting flight, and I was worried it would be bouncy and horrible and prime me for a bad experience on the overseas flight. But it was lovely! Back when we still considered March a Spring month, Todd signed up to do a Boy Scout training in the mountains. Hes the advisor for the 14-15 year old boys at church, not the Scout leader. The kind of friend that whenever you get off the phone with you feel like being a better person. Monday, October 17, 2011. Posted by The Borlands. Pure happiness in that cute little face right there. They rode that slide at least 10 times. I wish this picture showed Blakely's face better- she loved that ride. Blakely didn't ride too many rides. she preferred dancing to the music while big sister and daddy rode them. This ride would whip around so fast. Tinsley was in heaven. David and Tinsley on the dragon roller coaster. Hands up the whole time! Super fast ride that T-Bo loved. I love my family!
