For a couple of days my primary card did not work properly, so I had to use a backup card. So brining at least one backup card was not a bad idea. Copy of airline flights. This was a tripod to hold my point and shoot camera. Never used it. Mistake. Camera cable for Android. Extra memory cards for camera. Electric plug converter for Spain. List of important numbers.

On the first day I walked to Foncebadon, which is 2 kilometers from the Cruz de Ferro. The experience of placing my stone at the Iron Cross was a very meaningful event for me and deserves a separate page. And even water flowed down the street after a rain in strange ways. Merida is a fascinating city founded in 25 BC for the discharged Roman soldiers from the army of Augustus. It must have been some retirement community.
