Cam and Jane Continued...: Some Days in Darwin
http://camnjanecontinued.blogspot.com/2007/08/some-days-in-darwin.html
Cam and Jane Continued. Sunday, August 26, 2007. Some Days in Darwin. Last week I (Jane) went on a work trip to Darwin. I've never been on a work trip before (I consider my time in PNG to be a bit more than a work trip), and I found the experience quite novel. Anyway, we were bowled over by two very friendly and excited dogs - anyone with ill intentions would be licked into submission - and found our way into the house. Gus is the one pictured here. While we did spend a lot of time at the science fair, w...

Cam and Jane Continued...: April 2007
http://camnjanecontinued.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Cam and Jane Continued. Thursday, April 26, 2007. You would be right in thinking that our first (and main) destination is Europe, and Italy in particular. However we are squeezing Vietnam into the mix, and actually spent a day in Hanoi as part of our stopover on the way over. And boy were we were glad to have a day out of planes being able to stretch our legs and feel like human beings again. Saturday, April 21, 2007. Welcome to our new blog! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Việt Nam Votaries
http://vietnamvotaries.blogspot.com/2007/02/cambodia.html
A photographic diary of Adam and Vanessa's 2006/2007 adventure to Việt Nam. Tuesday, February 20, 2007. We just spent a week in Cambodia over the Tet holiday period and travelled with Sophie and Linly (two super travelling companions we must say). Angkor Wat was predictably astonishing, and Phnom Penh was surprisingly charming. We're already working out when we can go back there for more. So, here are some photos;. Việt Nam Votaries: October 2006
http://vietnamvotaries.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
A photographic diary of Adam and Vanessa's 2006/2007 adventure to Việt Nam. Wednesday, October 11, 2006. Vietnam just celebrated the 'Mid Autumn Festival' (Tet Trung Thu). It is celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month.which happened to be the 6th of October on our calendar. It's pretty much a festival for kids, but for most it's about moon cakes. They are literally sold on every corner during the month leading up. Much more effective than a wall. Here are some photos. Posted by Vanessa and Adam.

Việt Nam Votaries: Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes
http://vietnamvotaries.blogspot.com/2007/02/ch-ch-ch-changes.html
A photographic diary of Adam and Vanessa's 2006/2007 adventure to Việt Nam. Saturday, February 03, 2007. Hanoi has changed man! Of course, it's great.I guess. Viet Nam was desperately poor for so long and many parts still are.which is where my concern lies. It seems like the 'hammer and sickle' is slowly making way for consumerism. But anyhoo, that's another issue. Alas, there is good in all these changes and extra money. Road safety! Http:/ www.kfccruelty.com/. Posted by Vanessa and Adam. Sounds a bit s...

Việt Nam Votaries: August 2006
http://vietnamvotaries.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
A photographic diary of Adam and Vanessa's 2006/2007 adventure to Việt Nam. Thursday, August 24, 2006. After work on Saturday, my colleagues asked (after asking me how to ask this question correctly), ‘Adam, would you like to join us for a lunch party? 8217; I love my colleagues, so of course I said yes. Tuan tried in vain to convince me that I should try one of the 3 dog meat varieties. Apparently it’s often eaten for luck. I told him I’d rather play the odds, but thanks anyway.
