Eve first started writing when she lived for several years in New York and Chicago with her three children and her husband who was an Australian Government Trade Commissioner. The lack of knowledge in America of Australia and of our Aborigines prompted Eve to write. The Adventures of Camoola, the Young Warrior of the Wathaurongs'. A story for children based on the historical character of William Buckley (the 'Wild White Man') a 23 year old escaped convict who lived with the Wathaurong Tribe for 32 years.
