Funding for Camp Abilities Brockport is entirely from donations and grants. This past year camp was funded from donations and grants from:. Dorothea Haus Ross Foundation. Kelly for Kids Foundation. The New York State Commission for the Blind. Delta Gamma Rochester Chapter. The families of the campers are responsible for the balance of the expenses required for each camper to attend. This puts a big financial burden on many of the families who come from lower socioeconomic backgrounds.

July 13 - 14, 2017. July 15 - 20, 2017. Welcome to Camp Abilities Alaska! Camp Abilities Alaska is a fun sports camp for children and youth who are blind or visually impaired. The camp is located on the campus of the University of Alaska Anchorage. Athletes and volunteer coaches alike share a week that gives memories and friends for a lifetime. Activities include specialized sports like goalball and beep baseball as well as activities like swimming and tandem bicycling.
