Campaign for Real Milk UK. Who & What we Are. What the Supermarkets have done to our Milk. Without any notice to the milk-buying public, all the major supermarkets started homogenising their milk. When asked why, the answer given was: Thats what the consumer wants. Actually, the consumer was never asked! WHAT IS REAL MILK? Real Milk is milk with the cream on the top. It can be unpasteurised (also known as untreated or raw) and is available from licensed farms in England and Wales (not Scotland).

The Campaign for Real Milk is a pro-active association dedicated to increasing the availability of good milk to the public, whether unpasteurised or pasteurised. We are determined to ensure that traditional, pasteurised milk does not go the same way that the raw product nearly did. Around 15% of these stock organic herds which provide the caviar of milk! Unpasteurised milk can now be bought at farmers markets, such as Notting Hill and Borough in London, and a very few micro producers in remote areas are now permitted to sell to their local shops.
