Slow Down - Sharp Turns Ahead! Visiting Old and New people and places 50 years later. Feb 24, 2013. It's been an interesting 2 weeks. Ken's new medicine dose bit him in the butt! Monday he increased his dose and by Wednesday he was getting weaker. By Thursday he was too weak to get out of bed finally hanging on enough by 3 pm to get to his chair, where he promptly went back to sleep. His pain level? Doc appointment Tuesday so we shall see. Ken went to the doc and we all agreed (her and I) that maybe trying another type of Happy Pill might be a good idea. This was NOT welcomed by Ken but he went along. We left there with an elaborate way to wean off the old one and an aggressive way to jump start the new one! His neck muscles were about the size of the choker cables he used to use and mobility was pretty much 0. Well! For crying out loud!

Of course we started the hunt in earnest the next day. Went out Powatka and on down to the river then up Eden Bench. The road down is one switchback after another.
