About camping in Iceland: the quality of different campsites, camping with children, clothing and the weather. Looking on their website it looks quite nice. I guess it can indeed be very nice. Sadly enough we didn’t like it here, the weather was very bad. The owners (or campsite workers) we met were not very friendly. But perhaps that is changed now. They do have a natural bath and that is - ofcourse - very nice. No, nothing close by. Euh… The one we met was not. Not that I remember.

The village is nearby. Perhaps in town (I am not quite sure), but we haven’t been there. Not a playground, but they do have a trampoline. What else does a child need? I love making my own soaps and cleaning detergents, as I know exactly what is inside, usually they are much cheaper than the bought ones and I can add to it any fragrance that I fancy at the moment. So here is another great recipe, this one I borrowed from my mum. 1 plastic bottle (size that fits 4-5 l). 1 long spoon to mix ingredients. 1 Marseille soap (or any other natural soap made of vegetable oils). 3 l of hot water. 1 tablespoon baking soda.
