Ons Plekje is een minicamping op het platteland met kleinvee als pony's en kippen. Door het beperkte aantal plaatsen is het rustige karakter gewaarborgd. De faciliteiten, douches, toiletten en wasruimten, zijn schoon en eenvoudig.

In de omgeving liggen bijzonder plekken als het Springendal, de Vasserheide en het dal van de Mosbeek, maar ook toeristische plaatsen als Ootmarsum en Oldenzaal. Er zijn vele mountainbikesroutes in de directe omgeving. De camping ligt slechts op enkele kilometers afstand van Almelo en Tubbergen.
